Presented by Ellie Harvey and Chris Lavoie from Littleton Coin Company in Littleton, New Hampshire. You will learn about the exciting hobby of coin collecting. Each participating Scout will leave the event with a collector quality folder, 18 modern quarters (requirement 9d), 5 Lincoln Cents in 5 different grades (requirement 3), several booklets for coin collecting, a magnifier, coin pouch and more. This presentation is tailored to meet requirements 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, and 9d for the Scouts BSAs Coin Collecting Badge. The Scout must complete requirements 5b, 6, 7 and 10b/c prior to the event. For requirements 6 & 7 Scouts need to have their coins in a container or zip lock bag with their name and troop number on them. There is an additional fee of $15 per person for coin collecting supplies.
