Murray Clark, Nadine Bergeron-Nutt and Eagle Scout Matthew Baxter discus the life cycle of the American black bear (Ursus Americanus).

Murray Clark, bear trainer and bear keeper at Clark's Bears and Nadine Bergeron-Nutt, Merit Badge Counselor will present the Mammal Study together. Murray Clark will cover information on the life cycle of both our captive bears and wild bears. He will discuss age, diet, habitat and birth of the black bears. This presentation will fulfill requirements 1, 2 & 4c for the Scouts BSA Mammal Study merit badge. The Scout must complete requirements 3 & 5 as prerequisites so the merit badge counselor can sign off on your blue card. The Scouts will be able to enjoy the 30-minute bear show at either 12:00 or 3:00.
